Something new the creamery is offering is a maple bacon ice cream made with bacon from redBERRY in Troy. The maple flavored ice cream has chocolate covered bacon pieces and apple filling swirled throughout.

Customers can order the new ice cream flavor by the scoop or as a sundae with a waffle bowl, scoop of ice cream, maple syrup, whipped cream, cherry and a skewer of chocolate covered bacon.

“We’ve been doing Ice Cream for Breakfast Day since we first opened our original location in Fairborn in 2018 and it’s been a huge hit,” said Owner Julie Yarkony.

Ice cream for breakfast isn’t uncommon in Yarkony’s household.

Her grandmother always said, “You always have to eat something sweet after you finish eating to let your belly know you’re done.”

Both stores will be giving a portion of its proceeds to its local YMCA.
